A hot summer like this can be a cause for concern for customers, especially when it comes to the quality of their products. We know that for some foods in particular, the right storage temperature is crucial.
Although we do not currently have a standard refrigerated warehouse, we do our utmost to create individual solutions to ensure temperature control and safeguard the quality of the products.
To meet this need, we have equipped a smaller manual high-bay warehouse with adjacent production area with a mobile cooling unit. This cooling unit consists of an outdoor and an indoor unit, each as large as a small car. With this technology we are able to keep the entire hall constantly below 25 °C.
However, a constant temperature is only part of the equation. We know that documenting and monitoring the cooling is just as important. Therefore, we use numerous tracker modules to continuously measure the temperature and humidity in the hall. This data helps us to ensure that the storage conditions are optimal.
The response to this solution has been very positive. This has now prompted us to plan an expansion of the cooling facilities for next year.
