• Sustainability at the IDEAL GROUP: A Closer Look at Our Solar Power System

The IDEAL GROUP has been committed to sustainable solutions for years—and our photovoltaic systems are an integral part of this strategy. Since September 2019, we have been generating our own solar power to reduce our environmental footprint and make the energy supply at our locations more environmentally friendly.

Facts & Figures

  • Installed capacity: approximately 750 kWp
  • Energy generated since monitoring began (April 2020): approx. 3.74 GWh
  • CO₂ savings since 2020: over 1,200 metric tons

The energy generated covers a significant portion of our electricity needs. With modern heat pumps, we ensure efficient cooling and heating throughout the year.

Additional Measures

  • LED Lighting: Parts of our warehouses are equipped with LED technology.
  • Thermal Insulation: All buildings are equipped with modern insulation.
  • Electric Mobility: We have several charging stations for electric vehicles on our premises. In addition, our intralogistics fleet is fully electrified.

Solar Power for Lower CO₂ Emissions

With our photovoltaic system, we are actively contributing to the energy transition. Every kilowatt-hour of solar power reduces the need for fossil fuels and lowers CO₂ emissions. For us, this is not only an economic advantage but also a clear statement in support of sustainability.
